Standard Vertical Tanks

Kennedy manufactures a complete line of single-wall, double-wall and diked vertical aboveground storage tanks up to 50,000 gallons per U.L. 142 Standard, STI F921™ and other applicable standards as required.

Storage capabilities include fuel oil, various fertilizers, gasoline as allowed, bulk motor oils, other types of alternate fuels and various other liquid products.

Standard tanks include a roof manway with long bolts for emergency venting. Shell manways can be added upon request. A water draw-off opening is installed in the shell near the bottom for removal of condensation.  All tanks are double tested and proved tight at 1 1/2 to 2 1/2 PSIG air pressure. Tank bottoms have protective coating, while the remainder of the tank is coated with red oxide primer.

A double tank bottom can be provided for protection from the environment.

Optional cathodic protection can be added to the tank bottom to insure protection from the soil environment. Vertical tanks can be erected in undiked areas via Kennedy's tank erection trailer to suit your needs.
